hard time adjusting

I am only 4 days post op but I find myself so self conscious around other people. I feel like my boobs look huge when wearing a t-shirt over my sports bra. I want to know- when they drop will they not seem so big to me since they won't be sitting up so high? I'm sure its normal to take some time to get used to this but I wish I could skip this step, I hate this feeling :(

  • leigh13 I think the d&f depends on a lot- the size of the implant, the placement, and your musculature.  My ps said it should be settled by about 6-8 weeks and this seems to be the case. I found that I was used to them way before that point though (and day 4 was the hardest day for me!).  Sending you hugs and lots of patience.

It'll just take some time to get used to your new bust! After a few months you'll often forget that they're there.

  • It took me a lil more than a week to realise that they won't be so high forever and stop freaking out XD Don't worry they will d/f a lil everyday and you'll like them more and more, be patient πŸ˜‰

  • Thanks everyone!!! It’s so weird how my mood will change about them so frequently, I feel crazy πŸ˜‚ it’s just really all so new! I don’t think I ever considered how it would feel to make a huge change to my own body I’ve been used to for 24 yrs lol but still excited and no regrets!!
