  • Yes my surgery is December 2nd. I’m thinking I want to go bigger than originally planned so we’ll discuss at my preop appointment the week before!

  • Thank you for making this post! I’m scheduled dec 6th, almost on my one month count down! I’m 5’4”, 112lbs...  Planning ~325 saline under muscle, also getting mommy makeover so I’m interested in additional needs to prep for that!

    • ELA I’m December 11th, also getting a mommy makeover! I’m worried about surgical pain, but excited for any hope with reduction in my current lower back pain. 5’9” 122, ~320cc, silicone, under muscle

Itsabouttime yay! We are MM sisters! I’m hoping the mini tuck is more chill than some of the TT YouTube recoveries I’ve been watching! Seems like a rough week or 2 then he’s easier! We rented a recliner that will stand you up and I can sleep in... not cheap but I’ll let you know if it’s worth it! Other than that I feel more prepared for the BA bc of this site, if there is any MM guidance you have come across Let me know!

    • ELA  oh gosh, I’m getting the full TT with my BA. but I definitely hope your mini is a lot less painful! And yes, MM sisters!! I don’t know if any abdominoplasty support groups. I had just read a little on RealSelf.

Itsabouttime I watched reviews on YouTube 😬 I think it helped my get a grip on how much it could set me back! But... it’s going to be SO worth it! I can’t get put under and spend the OR costs with out getting rid of my extra skin from babies!

ELA I wanted to post on here and ask for some encouragement. My BA is on Friday and I am getting very nervous. I am sure that it is completely normal but I am having a lot of anxiety and cant really sleep very well because of it.

Jenni87 hi!!! I’m getting a bit antsy myself! It started yesterday when I went to bed I was eyes wide open and had to read for an hour... I totally get it, I am ready to go back to work tomorrow just for the distraction and routine!!! I am trying to focus on good thoughts and follow my gut that I know it will all work out. It seems surreal, and maybe you can relate, like I can’t actually believe it is this week, and that my body will be forever changed. 4 more days... I think losing some sleep is totally natural. It happens Whenever I have something big going on. I travel and speak at conferences for work and I always get nervous.  I will wake up at 4-5 am, I try to embrace it...  I throw myself out of bed and do some yoga, or stay in bed and put meditation on my phone and just breath! I find I can get a lot done with my nervous energy, and soon enough we will be resting for days! Most importantly, stay healthy!!! Are you having serious doubts? Like maybe backing out? Or jitters?

ELA no I don’t want to back out but I do have concerns about families opinions and how people will think of me. I know it’s silly but we are in a very conservative Christian community and I know most people would not agree with my decision. Also just the idea of surgery is kind of intimidating. Thank you for your helpful words, it’s nice to know I’m not alone.

Jenni87 ugg!! Honey that sucks!!!! I am like a California yogi hippie so I’m from opposite surroundings... I can only imagine what you are going through. I had a tough time telling my mom bc she went through breast cancer diagnosis and treatment this year and since so many implant issues are in the news. She is basically pretending like it’s not happening and not supportive. My only saving grace is that her BFF has them! It suck to get crappy nonsupportive comments, those have come and of course from my closest friends and that stings a bit “why are you getting a tummy tuck you don’t need that” “saline!!!! You will pop , look fake and have ripples!” I told my friends im not asking for your opinion or input I am asking for your support! These are my boobs and belly you have your own! That did the trick!
One thing I have found is that it’s surprising how people you least expect have implants. I had to tell the owner of my yoga studio to get advice to modify my yoga and my chiropractor bc I can’t get treatment ... both are super into holistic health so I totally was prepped for them to shame me... the yoga teacher whispered “I just got mine done I know exactly how to help” and the chiro is like “oh my wife has them that’s awesome”! I hope some supportive people pop out of your wood work! The surgery part is a bit scary... Im basically ignoring that part but expecting the jitters to kick in on Thursday... Keeping busy til then!!!

ELA thank you so much, that helps a lot. I know I just need to bite the bullet and tell someone, I know it will help. My husband said the same thing as you, people we least expect may even have them. I am more nervous for telling people then the surgery. I am really excited though!

Hopefully I’m passed the worst of it... my surgeon said I am and that all looks great! I switched bras which is like ahhhhhh bc the one he gave me dug in my crease incisions. How are you doing!?

  • I am tentatively scheduled for December 13th. I have to get some lumps removed and then will get implants in the same surgery. I just need to get an additional ultrasound next week then meet with the doctor again on November 25th before we confirm the date.

I have been looking at pictures and have tried on some sizers already. I am pretty sure I will go with the Mentor Memory Gel Siltex Moderate Plus in 375cc or maybe even 400cc. The doctor said because I am so thin it needs to go under the muscle.

I have wanted implants since my 20s and will be 40 in a couple weeks so although having lumps has been a little scary the opportunity to get implants (vastly different sized lumps so will probably need different sized implants) has been a little exciting too.

  • I’m scheduled for December 10th and can’t wait! Going through all the things boobie related and making my to dos for before the procedure! Getting 550cc silicone unders. Starting as a 36a and can’t wait to see my results! So happy to have found this group of wonderful ladies!

Xtina08x I think mod+ silicon in 400cc but I have my pre-op Nov 25th so will try the sizers again then and work out what I want. The final decision will be up to my surgeon though as he is removing some lumps first so the implants will need to be different sizes to even my breasts up from that.

Dec.19th here, and starting to really stress, and second guess myself. I really did not expect this last three months to go by so fast! I've wanted them forever and have met with 3 surgeons and been doing solid research for over a year. Just worried that this doesn't turn out, or that it's selfish, or the many other reasons why not to do it. :(

But alas the deposit has already been paid.....

Going for Mentor smooth silicone HP in the 350/550 range (I like the 550 but it all depends on what my skin will allow for stretching). Starting with a 36A/34B and BWD of 12. About 164 pounds, 5 ft 6.

Neens I hear ya girl!! Lol. Last night was also my first night back at work (I bartend and go to school fulltime) and omg....i wasn't ready either. Lol. I am so sore this morning. I did absolutely no heavy lifting (minus a few pitchers of beer), but by the end of the night even just wiping tables... that was the worst. I could feel stretching and not in a good way.

But from day 2 i was washing my own hair, opening my own meds, etc. I never had problems so i feel like im healing fast. I didn't take any opiates for pain either. Never got morning boob, or frankenboob (surprisingly). But i didn't go too big. Due to the smaller breast my surgeon would only go as high as 425 cc's and i got 350 in the other (HP Mentor memorygel, smooth, round). I was hoping for around 500 but honestly I've had no boob greed. I think they are a perfect size and cannot wait for the drop and fluff. Not too big, not too small and simply ecstatic that they are the same size and i didn't end up needing a lift in the left droopy one (my bigger one). That one is already seeing a tiny bit of dropping.

What about you? How did surgery go? Recovery, pain? Are u happy? What did u end up with? If you want to share pics I'm willing to as well. I was taking them daily from day 1, and now doing it every 7 days (so i did my two week photos yesterday). So exciting. Cannot wait to actually fill out a bathing suit. Funny thing is too, nobody has really been able to tell because b4 i wore huge pushups with cutlets on one side so it looks close to the same but all boob now. Lol. Of course they may end up looking bigger a little with the d&f from what i hear. Still, i like that i can dress them up or down.

Hope you are feeling well despite the harder workday. Im thinking itll get easier as we get used to it. I gained more weight than im happy with just sitting around the house. Cannot wait to be cleared for the gym, and massages for d&f. Lol.

Neens Hi, I am also 2 weeks PO today, and I'm going back to work on Monday.  If I had to do this again, I wouldn't!  For me I would have rather just stayed the way I was.  I have a household to maintain, and a business on the side to run and I feel like I can't keep up with either!  And the bruising I had was tremendous, I was Black and Blue all down my sides into my abs, waist and back!  My PS said it was normal (as gravity goes down) however, I didn't see any pics on here that showed me any kind of busing like I had, and still have, not even close.  I am a body builder as well and maybe I was so lean and hardly any breast tissue had something to do with it.  I would appreciate any input? I have to wear a bra strap that kills my incisions, so I waited a couple of days for the healing to begin (that was fun)!  Anyway, I am 5"6' - 130 lbs (34A) and I had 440 cc HP Round put in, my surgeon said that I could have went with a 470 cc HP but I thought that was too big!  I have no idea what size I will ultimately be, I am thinking around a small D cup (I hope no bigger).  If anyone has my measurements and also got the same size cc - I would like to hear what size they think I would be ultimately (my PS said d).  My incisions doesn't look so good either and i complained to my PS and he said that is the way they are suppose to look?  Good luck with your recovery...I hope everyone's is better then mine!

  • I am so excited to be in this thread. December 18th!!

I went a year ago to a PA and for me he just wasn’t the one. It was nothing he said or did. It wasn’t the staff. It wasn’t the facility. It was ME! It was more of a gut feeling he wasn’t the right PA for me even though he was going to give me exactly what I wanted!

Fast forward to October 2019 and I did some more research between now and then. I broaden my traveling distance and I found the PA for me. I’ve looked extensively at his webpage, YouTube account, Instagram, Google Reviews, if he was on it then I read it.

So the moral of this dragged out post is take your time. If it doesn’t feel right then don’t do it!

I’m getting Sientra highly cohesive round implants at 425 CC under the muscle

Has anyone found any threads on here about recovery with little ones. I have three little ones under 4 and am just curious how their experience was, am I crazy?!

    Any advice is welcomed:)

kcleveland , I’m 9dpo, and I have two kiddos, 4 and 6. They are all knees and elbows when it comes to my body, particularly in the area of my breasts. My husband and I spoke to them beforehand to let them know that Mommy was going to the doctor and was going to have an owwie on her chest, so they couldn’t bumrush me or climb into bed in the morning like they are used to. They were pretty okay with it. With the exception of some over zealous rogue hugs, they’ve been more ginger in their interactions with me. Hugs and snuggling are still uncomfortable, and I don’t know how much your kids weigh, but I wouldn’t be able to pick up from the floor without being in some pain. If you have the option of help with that, I’d recommend it. Good luck!

  • My surgery is scheduled for December 3rd! I am beyond ready and so so excited. I am 5'2 1/2 and I weigh a little over 100 lbs. 12/12.3 BWD. some asymmetry. I've had one child.

I originally thought i wanted 380cc but I decided that I do want larger breasts and I was hoping for some side boob. My surgeon and I decided on Mentor memory gel xtra HP 450cc/465cc (small difference in cc but hoping to even out the asymmetry a little). He discussed a lift in one breast in the future after I heal if I want to do that. I have a little deflation in the upper pole and one breast hangs a little lower than the other (that part isn't so noticeable) AND my nipple placement is not even. Amazing how pregnancy changes your boobs! Anyways,  I was happy until i realized that that size in the implants we are using are still slightly under my BWD so I dont think I will have any side boob? I called the office back to ask about going one size larger and the nurse said she would speak to my surgeon and get back to me. She called today to let me know that he said he think the sizes we chose would fit best and going larger could cause complications. I guess i'm overthinking the whole thing maybe? its a BIG DECISION. So i'll be sticking with the 450c/465cc and I hope it turns out great!

I've already had my pre-op appt. On the day of surgery they will send an antibiotic, pain medicine, nausea medicine, and muscle relaxer to the pharmacy for me. They did not tell me anything else to do to prepare besides showering the night before and wearing loose fitting clothing! I thought there would be more restrictions leading up to surgery?

I'm really happy I found this site!

ashley_90 I’m scheduled for January and my surgeon has given me no instructions for prior either. We haven’t even discussed meds. At my last visit when discussing sizes, I asked if I needed to come back and go over anything and he said no. It’s crazy to see what some of these women are doing before hand and I’m over here just waiting. Good luck on your surgery!

ashley_90 Yay! That’s awesome. I’ve been surprised how uncomfortable I’ve been with constipation. My pain hasn’t been too bad but I’ve been taking the ibuprofen 800mg every 8 hours and the Percocet 325mg every 4 hours like clock work! I took a shower today and that helped a lot. I went with 325 high profile

ashley_90 wow, my surgeon had this whole folder that the nurse went over with me, of instructions for before surgery as well as what to expect after (emotionally, physically, etc.). There were huge lists of things not to do, such as supplements not to take, certain meds, etc. How to shower (omce night b4 with hibiclens, and morning of with hibiclens). What to wear day of, a list of what to buy and have st home ready, list of numbers, medication schedule, and all sorts of other very useful info. Especially since even tho many docs go over this at pre-op we are so excited that it doesn't all always stick. That folder helped a lot as i referred to it multiple times. I am very surprised that your surgeon had no pre-op restrictions. Certain meds and supplements alone can cause huge complications. Smh. Wow.

  • ahhh I’m so happy I found this community!! My surgery date is December 12th and I cannot wait 😍 at my last sizing appointment I decided I wanted 550cc silicone implants (for reference I’m 5’4, about 112lbs, and a 32b). I know it’s a large jump but I’ve always wanted some tig ol bitties! love to cosplay and I know it’ll definitely add some variety to the characters I can dress up as 😊 Really I’m just hoping my body wants these implants as much as my heart does! spo0pygirl I’m getting mine done on the 27th. My doctor and I also discussed 550. I’m nervous they’ll be a little big for my frame (5’2” 127 lbs), BUT I’ve always wanted larger boobs anyways and I have some skin to fill since breastfeeding. Sooo excited.

    • Crystalk yes girl I’m so excited for you!! I think they’ll turn out great ☺️ I’ve seen a lot of pics of girls who went that big after breastfeeding and they tend to look the most natural!! I went to a couple different surgeons and the first two were hesitant when I said I wanted 500+ ccs. But at my sizing appointment with my current surgeon, his nurses were gassing me up no matter what size I wanted lol! She even let me try on 600ccs just so I could see how it felt and honestly it’s tempting to go bigger but we will see 🤪 time to do some research on fashion for petite girls with large chests!

  • Thank you for sharing! I wish I would have found you sooner! My surgery is Dec 2 and I’m freaking TF out. I’m doing full mommy makeover, BA with lift silicone 450-500cc still haven’t decided.. lipo 360 and tummy tuck and a BBL! I think I’m more nervous about being in a lot of pain afterwards. I also cannot decide what size implants to get. My dr kept saying 350-450 and that just seems SO small to me. I want to be a DD still. Ahhhhhh!!!

Hi everyone! I’m new here and scheduled for surgery with Dr. Roughton on Dec 17! Pre-op next week (27th) and I’m getting anxious/nervous. I know I’ll be way more nervous the closer I get, but reading everyone’s post-op posts has been really helpful in calming my nerves.

I’m 5’1”, 105lbs and going with Sientra silicone unders. I’ve been slightly obsessing about cc’s for the last 2 weeks and right now I’m between 285 and 305. I know I shouldn’t obsess about 20ccs, but I REALLY don’t want to go too big since I’m petite and I want them to look proportionate and natural. After breastfeeding 2 babies, I am a deflated 32A and looking forward to filling out bras and tops again (was 32B/small C pre-kids). My boobie guide is Jennifer Anniston from the 90s during her prime in Friends :)

My surgeon recommended 285, but I know a few people who wished they would have gone bigger so that’s why I’m leaning toward 305, but also my hubby doesn’t want them to be too big (he’s a butt guy!) because I’m petite.

    What do you all think??

Mmarrajones you are absolutely right that 20 cc's does not make a difference. It's only a little more than a tablespoon. Think of that. Since most women do think they could have gone bigger and 20 cc's is nothing, I personally would just do it. But definitely do what makes you comfortable and talk to your PS about it. I'm going through the same thing right now. I backed down from 500/550 (getting 2 different sizes due to assemetry) just in case she actually could fit that in there (ya never know!). For reference I'm a lot bigger than you (5ft6 and 163lbs) but I still dont want huge boobs, just natural. I've always been a 36A, 34B. Since I was 16, and breastfeeding never changed them. They never got bigger or anything. The one small boob is exactly where it was at 16. Lol. Sad.

Anyway I asked them to keep it at 450/400 and under (whatever they can fit anyway because that small boob could impair this) but now I'm vacillating again because of my size. Will they match my build or still look small? Will that size give me the pole and volume I want? What if I regret not going bigger? Omg. I guess it's back to the research board to see if I can find others approximately my size. Lol.

My surgery is on Dec. 19th so we are close. Good luck!!

I am already a 32DDD naturally, but upper pole fullness is GONE, so I’m reinventing and boy am I excited. I had a lift two years ago hoping it would give me the look I wanted. Needless to say it didn’t, so here I go for something I should’ve done the first time around.

  • Just had my preop. My surgery is December 2nd at 6:00am! I'm the first one! I am a little sad we discovered my BWD is actually 11 not 12 so I had to get smaller implants. I'm going with moderate profile 295cc but I'm still kinda debating doing high profile so I can get a bigger size in! I'm super small though 5'1" and 90lbs so they didn't' want me to go too big!
