2 WPO, able to feel implant
Hi! I am a little over 2 WPO, and I had my surgery done by Dr. Davis at your office. I am very happy with the appearance of my breast, but I am concerned with being able to feel the implant in the middle my left breast, on the inside. I pointed it out to Dr. Davis during my 1 week post op, and he said it was swelling. However, when I press it, it makes a popping sound and it will go away. Within minutes or hours it will return, and I can press it gently again and it will go away. It definitely feels like the implant. Should I be concerned? My three week appointment is this week, and he was going to just do a nurse call since I am about an hour away, but now I’m wondering if I should come in. I have 485 & 445 cc overs. Thank you for your help!
Hmmm. I can't say for sure without examining you. Could it be air? Sometimes when we place the implant we trap air in the pocket and it takes a while to be absorbed by the body. Typically not more than 2 weeks though. I don't think it's likely to be anything bad but I am stumped if it isn't air.
I would be honored to see you at my office in Raleigh, NC!
