Nervous about sizers/looking heavy

Hi ladies! I hope this finds you all safe and well!

After years of wanting a BA, I finally had my consult with a doctor I trust and feel good about.

I'm 32yo 5'6" around 135lbs

currently a 36A/small B

sz medium/6 in just about everything

36/29/39

After countless hours of research, I knew I wanted around 250-300ccs to get the lowkey/hopefully natural looking size I want (small c). Not looking for anything hugely drastic, I just want to feel more feminine and fill out my tops better. I have a pear shaped body, so dresses fit around the hips but always super loose/unflattering on top. I lost a bit of weight over the years, went down maybe half a cup or so?

My doctor immediately knew ~300cc was the right size for me and I specifically chose him because he is conservative when it comes to sizing and prioritizing a natural look. When I put on the sizer (310cc) I felt a little scared because it made me look heavier than I am. I'm definitely not skinny but I guess I'm just used to being small on top and being able to downplay my hips. I finally feel good about my weight and body image after a lot of ups/downs throughout the years so I'm afraid of undoing my hard work with this surgery.

I expressed this concern and he suggested 290cc's to stay on the more conservative size. I know It's not a huge difference but made me feel better nonetheless and he did not want to go smaller because it woudn't look good.

I went to target and bought a padded pushup bra to see how it looks under clothes and try to get used to being fuller and I'm just super nervous about looking heavier.

I know the sizers aren't 100% accurate to go off of because it sits on top of your existing breast tissue and going under the muscle will make you lose 10% of volume. I guess I'm just looking for a bit of reassurance or advice if anybody had similar fears before their BA?

Thank you so much for reading! :))

  • Hey! I was totally in your shoes before I hadny surgery. I wanted full bigger breast but natural looking and not obvious. So I initially thought 250-300 max. And after goigb back and forth for months with sizers and rice sizers. I decided on 325. Now at first i thought this is going over what I thought ny max was. And then after seeing woman my size go for bigger like 375 high profile and it still look small and natural, i felt comfortable with 325.

So almost 2 months after my surgery, I'm so glad I did 325 moders2te plus xtra profile. They are so natural and many would think on the small side but for me the are perfect. I waited a week to recover to see my family and siblings. And no one knew at all that I had surgery a week before. My own sisters and my mother have no clue. Bc of how natural and perfectly they fit my frame. I wore padded bras so it basically looks like that. So to my family it doesnt look any different.

They do defintely look smaller once in your body. So i would go with your biggest max and you'll love them.

The sizes you are looking at will definitely be a change for you but natural and not noticable to others if you don't want them to notice. That size range is not huge or busty. I think you'll be fine.

Hope this helps! Its a tough decision. I lost sleep over this. I was a wreck. But im glad I did the 325 and not 250 over all. Im still small and have a conservative look.

yes exactly! I want to be able to show them off when I want but not feel busty all the time (I love how people call it dressing it up/down).

I took a peek at your profile/photos and yours look beautiful!

thank you so much for sharing, I feel a lot better about it.

jck13 I'll update with more oics. Theyve changed alot since then. I'll show u with clothes on too. They look even smaller with clothes on.  But thats what i wanted. If i wear a normal bra they look just right. On the smaller conservative side. But with a push up bra or teeny bikini top. Its like bam! So its exactly what i wanted. Dress them up when i want and show them off when I want. And still 2 months later....my mom and sisters have no clue. Haha and I see them every weekend.

Fafa84 OMG!! they look AMAZING with/without clothes!! πŸ˜

you totally described and depicted my BA goals perfectly

I think the sizer just made me look fake/stuffed because of how much it sits on top of everything and first impression I felt silly in it but now I definitely can see they don't actually end up that way.

wowwwww ok I am SO excited to book my BA now πŸ˜

I can't thank you enough for your advice and sharing- ty ty ty!
