Bottoming out?

I see my surgeon again Tuesday.  It’s been about a month since the last time.  The left side in the photo has always sat a little under the incision since it started healing, but I’m wondering if it’s gotten worse or just dropping more?  I’m thinking it’s bottoming out but I’m not sure if there could be another reason for it...

  • You're right, it's bottoming out a bit.  I'm not sure how far out from surgery you are.  If it's more than 6 weeks the capsule around the implant is formed and I am not sure there is much you can do to change the implant position (without more surgery).  That said, if it doesn't get any worse, it may not bother you too much.  If earlier than six weeks, I would use an underwire bra to try and support that implant up and the skin down against the chest wall.  Best of luck, sorry you're going through this.

I would be honored to see you at my office in Raleigh, NC!

Dr. Michelle Roughton thank you.  My surgeon saw me Tuesday and I am just over 3 months.  We’ll be doing a revision.  I don’t mind the surgery but I’m worried about the second cost.  I already paid $12k for my lift and implants and I haven’t heard back from them about the cost for revision 😭
