Flat area under breast when bending over

Is the flat area on the underside of my breast normal when bending over?

  • Hi! How far post op are you?  It's normal but I bet it'll get better.  I suspect (let me know if I'm wrong--been wrong before!) you have highly cohesive implants are are not too far from surgery.  What I think we are seeing is the implant edges.  That should soften up and always know that it's a weird angle.  During my busy breast reconstructive (after mastectomy) practice I learned I had to tell everyone not to put their shoulders together and bend over at 45 degrees naked in the bathroom mirror!  Because NO one looks good from that angle!  Haha.  You can see every ripple and imperfection in the implants by doing that. And somehow every single patient finds themselves doing it, so it must be normal!

Best of luck to you, try not to worry!

I would be honored to see you at my office in Raleigh, NC!
