3 dpo pocket revision 345 to 485 ccs! 5’9 135lbs

Hi ladies! I had a pocket revision due to lateral displacement. My right breast looks like the stitches are in more of a crease on my right breast making it look different from my right. It that just from the stitches or does it look like the pocket was tightened too much? I’m freaking out.  Has this happened to any of you??

  • The crease on right looking at pic looks like it is higher to me by the pictures.  Does it feel tighter?

Justme45 yes it does. When I try to move the skin below the crease on the right it won’t move so I’m scared the pocket was sewed up higher on that side. Hopefully it will drop down.

  • How did you know you had lateral displacement? Inly asking because I'm almost positive that I do. I'm 5 months post op, mine are way too far apart, and are in my armpits, and still haven't dropped yet. I'm going to talk to my PS the 15th of October.

      B. renee. 2019 when I would lay on my back my implants would fall into my armpits and it was extremely uncomfortable :(. The implant was way too small for how large my pocket was. When I would lay on my back the inner edge of the implant would fall beneath my nipple and my chest would be flat! I hated them!!! I will post a pic before my revision. My implants before were 345cc high profile. The ones I have now are 485cc high profile.

      B. renee. 2019 ugh no don’t cry!! You can always have them fixed! My dr had to sew up the pockets to tighten mine up and put a larger implant in.

  • I get so aggravated everyday trying to get dressed.

I'm scared my PS is going to charge me full price to fix his mistake. I just can't justify paying 7K again.

      B. renee. 2019 to be honest you will probably have to.. my PS charged me for implant exchange and gave me $1000 off. I think my husband paid $6,700. That’s high for an exchange but I live in Houston tx and had them done in the medical center so prices are really high. Plus my dr specializes in breast reconstruction. Everything will be ok! If anything maybe he can just go in a see the pockets up and leave the implants you have which will cut costs dramatically.
