Excited about mommy makeover in November!

I just had my consultation and am on the schedule for November 2019. I was able to do a vectra scan and try on sizes. I’m going with 415cc natrelle soft touch cohesive silicone gel possibly over the muscle (I still need to decide). Won’t need a lift.  I’ll also be doing a full tummy tuck. So exciting!

  • Yay! My mommy makeover was the best thing I've ever done for myself.  You will be so happy in the end. It is rough but worth it!

Tottycakes Accept help!! I spent the first night in a hotel with a night nurse but then I was on my own.  Fortunately I didn't have to care for my kids for the first week but it was ROUGH.  Even getting up off the couch to get meds and go to the bathroom was really hard. Take everything as prescribed. My doc said to take Senna twice a day as long as I was taking the pain meds and I never had constipation issues.

Be patient! I was sooooo swollen and beat up and just looked absolutely horrible for a while. I took my measurements (waist, hips, thighs etc) and that helped me to track my progress and know when I was back to where I started so I could start to judge results.  The swelling was just insane.

Don't do too much! You want to move around but honestly just getting up for the bathroom and to get meds was plenty at first.

Oh and if you have access to a recliner I think that would be absolutely amazing to sleep in for the first few weeks.

MARIA hi I have my mommy makeover scheduled in November. Were you able to return to work after 2 weeks? How long for the swelling to subside?

Abbyrey I work from home but I was able to care for my children (carefully) after two weeks.  It was a few months before the swelling completely subsided.

CandyO The easiest clothing for me was very loose dresses! I found them more comfortable than even any loose pants.  If you do pants, consider something that is so loose that they're falling off of you pre-surgery!
