Krista and 50 is nifty

I’m 50! This is going to be my half of 100 present to myself,I did my time, breast fed 3 boys and I want a lift and implants and to fix the asymmetrical issues. I am nearly a full cup size difference.... is this a waste of $$$ at my age. Any thoughts?

Absolutely not a waste of money or time!!! I'm 51 and just had a revision, I was 48 when I had my first BA. As I see it, this is the first time most women have the chance to devote (well-deserved) time to themselves. After forging careers and raising families it's time to find what makes you happy. Besides, age is just a state of mind. Best if luck to you and I hope you choose to keep us updated. 😊

  • I say No!  Why would it be too late?  I did it.  I expect to enjoy a nicer figure!  You look gorgeous.  Maybe you’re like me and you just don’t want those nipples pointing at the floor any more! Go for it.  (I’m 3 weeks out from ba / bl)

  • Never too late. Go for it. I'm 56 and had a revision in July. I feel so much better and more confident. You're young still and beautiful.

  • I'm 62 and 3 weeks post-op.  I couldn't be happier.  It's time to enjoy life, feel confident and move on.  You deserve whatever you think is important.   We do not cease living at 50, nor should we cease dreaming.  Move on, live that dream.  You will not regret it!

  • I’m 46 and just about to have surgery next Friday for a breast augmentation. I feel like my children are grown and I can actually focus on me now. 50 is the new 40 so live your life the way you want and do what makes you happy.

  • I am your age, and had a BL/BA 7 weeks ago. Like you I had the assymmetry, one nipple was 2 1/2 inches lower than the other one!! Since surgery I have not had the neck pain/headache I often struggled with, and I didnt even know it was the assymmetry doing that. Recovery has been ok, even with hives from the antibiotics, and I would recommend it. Sleep has been an issue, and I def felt a mood drop after surgery. The PS said that the length of my surgery and the fact that I am normally obnoxiously positive it to blame. πŸ˜‰  The scars are starting to look less grotesque, and I am back to living a normal life again. I did follow my PS's advice to a tee, and so far I am thrilled. I was a large C, and I am now an E. I had 240cc Natrelle Inspira, Under muscle, with an anchor lift, and some lipo in the side boob area (highly recommend that, although that was rather sore and uncomfortable for a long time). I thought about the surgery for years, and even scheduled and cancelled with another PS. He had a totally different plan, no BL and larger implants, and I was not feeling confident about it. So I found a new PS that specializes in reconstruction, and she was great. When I showed her my wish pic, and told her what the other PS had said she was blunt and said "that would have been great if your wish pic was very very large droopy breasts!"

Do your home work, have reasonable expectations and all will be great!
