So annoyed (2WPO)

Why is this such a dragging process lol my right is obviously up high still and is bigger than my left even tho it’s the same implant size(415cc UHP)😒  I’m trying to trust the process of D&F but I can’t help but think I’m screwed with frankenboobs forever lol

  • Your surgery was so recent. I would definitely say to just give it more time. I can tell the difference but they still look great. And from what I have read that’s pretty typical. I’m only 4 dpo and can already tell that my right boob is gonna be the stubborn one too. Good look with everything.

Laura Kristine it def is frustrating. My PS told me not to massage. I’m hoping at my 3w appointment he’ll tell me to start massaging. From what i read in the group is that it can take up to a year for them to settle and be at their final results.... sigh I hope it doesn’t take that long for us lol

    • Jeanette my PS told me the same. Frustration is so high right now bc I feel like I can’t wear anything and be happy in it bc I still can’t wear a bra yet either. So I have frankenboobs with you! Lol

  • It’s very frustrating!  Being patient is hard!  Waiting sucks!  I have lots of empathy but no magic.

  • No one has Frankenboob forever! Don't worry. The other one will drop.

  • I was so lopsided in my 2nd, 3rd and into my 3rd week! Then seemingly overnight, they dropped more and have been perfectly even ever since and I'm now 7 weeks. It's so so frustrating and aggravating and scary but hang in there beautiful. If you dont see changes in another couple weeks, check in with your Surgeon. Just have him take a peek, but you'll be ok. Sending lots of love.

  • My ps told me that I had asymmetrical breasts before surgery ( I never really paid any attention) but I didn’t notice it until he pointed it out. He also told me that breast implants would  exaggerate the difference between the two. And it has. He also stated that to him each breast was not more than a 50cc difference from each other so he didn’t think that two different size implants were appropriate for me. I think you look amazing! Maybe you still have some swelling and it will just take more time.

Scilla yes my doctor said the same with my asymmetric nips. I honestly don’t care about my nips being asymmetrical but my worry is how my right implant is still high and tight. I’m 3 weeks post op and it might be less high and right. But still noticeable

Jeanette it's still too soon to panic. Trust me on this one, because I've lived it, just as your experiencing right now. I first had one boob higher, then I had one boob significantly larger! (See pics below... 😂) I freaked, thinking I'd be a circus freak forever Haha. But it all dropped & fluffed out to perfectness. You'll be ok!!!

Were your breast slightly different like this prior to surgery? I had one larger boob prior and my Dr made sure I was aware that it's common for an augmentation to accentuate those kinds of things, making it look much more noticable. Wondering if maybe that's why one is a little higher? That's the only other thing I can guess, but 3 weeks is WAY too soon to worry, huh. You're ok....trust us...this is normal and you will even out soon.

Heres a pic I posted around my 3 week. I posted concerns about this same issue, freaking out!!!!!! About a week later, the dropped and have been at the same level ever since 👍❤ You'll get there soon love

Terra thank you so much for your continued support 😩💖 I really appreciate it and it does make me feel better to hear your experience! Before BA my nipples were asymmetrical and one boob had a tiny bit more breast tissue than the other. My PS said it wasn’t enough to put different size on my right but told me the right nipple would be slightly higher(always)bc it being naturally asymmetrical  but that the implant should drop more. So I’m just here WAITING FOR IT TO DROP lmfao  I’m just hoping that it drop soon bc my daughter has spring break soon and I want to wear a bikini top not a damn rash guard 😂

Jeanette hahahaha itll be ok. If your spring break is next month like ours, I'm betting you'll be dropped in time for that pretty bikini! Even if you arent, I think you'll still look hot! I just looked at your pics again and naked its visible, but maybe not so much in a bra or bathing suit? Itll be ok....I give it another week or so!!!!

  • Oh no girl, you are not stuck in frankenboob forever! You’re super early in recovery all the weird feelings and appearance you are going through is normal. My left was slower to drop than my right and appeared bigger as well up until 4 months PO id say. It’s due to the swelling and then not being totally settled in their pockets yet. I know it’s hard to be patience and stay positive! A BA is definitely mentally exhausting

  • Omg this is me now at 8 months  I had asymmetrical nipples and more breast tissue in one boob but now that I have boobs I feel like they look so lob sided and uneven. I hope they even out but at 8 months very unlikely

  • They will change so much still! I am almost 8 months old surgery and mine have still been changing! They have changed in the last week! My right side seemed so much smaller last month and higher so I have been trying to do the heavy stuff with my left side and today they look amazing! They have no gotten smaller the last few months and I have been measuring them everyday. They truly change up to a year so TRUST me when I tell you that you have a long way to go before you see real results!
