Am I too old to be doing this?

Hello ladies! I’m 53 and have my surgery scheduled for January 2020. I’m having a BL/BA, Unsure of size just yet. I’m 5’9” about 170lbs. Are there any ladies my age in here and how was your experience with it all? Recovery? Size? Am I too old to be doing this?? That’s my biggest concern.

Any insight would be helpful, I’m nervous and excited and can’t wait for my new girls.

  • Hello.  I'm  52 and  about  5 MOPO. My only regret is that I waited so long! I will admit my results are not exactly what I hoped for, ( I would have liked more upper pole fullness), but in comparison to pre surgery I am thrilled!! I went with  375cc silicon. I do have some  boob greed but want my results to last as long as possible so didn't go too large. I say enjoy your results and 'it's never too late'😀

Never2late Thanks for the input. I’m looking at wanting more upper pole and hope I don’t go too small. I was thinking about 500+ for my size. Thanks, nice to see someone in my age group.

  • No!  I’m your age and I’m happily doing it!  We don’t need to be slumped on a rocking chair on a porch!  Let’s enjoy life!  Good luck to you.

  • I'm 56. Got a revision from 2002 saline 360 to silicone 485. Should have done it 5 years earlier. So much better.

  • Of course you’re not. I’m turning 64 this month and plan to have BA. Just be focused on doing lots of research and ask a lot of questions and find the top rated surgeon. Good luck and I’ll let you know what my experience is.

  • I'm 60 and just scheduled my BL/BA today for Oct 22. I'm 5/5" about 240, size 40C, so I'm kind of a big girl. I am perfectly healthy and according to my PCP, there is no known reason why I should not have this done FOR ME!. I am having 480 cc Natrelle SRF silicone/gummy bear implants. So NO you are not too old as long as there are no health concerns and you have a Board Certified surgeon. I am excited/apprehensive about my new breast. Not having my nipples point to the ground will be a new experience!

  • You are never too old to feel good about yourself! I am 51 and 7 MPO from an upgrade and couldn't be happier! If you are healthy enough then I say go for it. Happiness and being comfortable and confident in your own skin has no age requirements! Life is too short to limit ourselves due to others opinions. Do it for yourself!
