How much can skin stretch?

Hi! I have an upcoming BA August 13th and I’m going larger than what I expected to be going with. I’m a 34 A/B with 12.5 BWD and my doctor chose 500cc for me. I have never had kids and breastfed so I don’t have deflation but I have little tissue. I’m a little freaked out at the idea that my skin will be able to stretch that much to accommodate those implants. Is our skin more elastic than I’m thinking? I can’t imagine being able to fit them in!

  • I was about the same as what you started with and I got 600cc HP. I’m not gonna lie, the tightness for about a week sucked really bad and I was fearful I’d never feel normal again. But now 14wpo I feel perfectly fine.

Did your PS do a vectra 3D image?

PLE2003 thank you! No he doesn’t do that. Honestly I’m not sure how many use those in Canada. I went for a few consultations and none of them have it.

thanks for the heads up on the tightness, I’m preparing mentally for it for sure!

Women have carried octuplets (8 babies) in their bodies... If skin can stretch that far, I'm sure you can accommodate a large implant. I know it sounds scary, but it's doable

  • I used to have these "lovely" tuberous breasts with not much tissue (as you can see), no children, and got 550 cc (implant width 13.5 cm, BWD about 14-14.5), pic is 17 DPO. So yes, the skin does stretch miraculously! :)

  • Your skin is an amazing thing! I know many small girls with bigger implants and they look great. I would think of it as pregnancy, your stomach can stretch and fit a baby and then retract amazingly. The only risk with starting with little tissue, is a higher chance of rippling.

Haley Danielle thank you. Yes thinking of what the body can do during pregnancy is true! I’m going with the gummy bear implants so I’m hoping that rippling won’t be an issue.

  • Definitely!  I went up 2-3 cup sizes overnight after I had my first baby.  Unfortunately I got the stretch marks that went with that. πŸ˜«πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚
