One month post op club

Okay.. so maybe a couple days premature (one month will be on the 12th). And yes, that is the original surgical tape and it is DRIVING ME NUTS. But, doctors orders to keep the scarring as small and tight as possible. Recovery has been, for the most part, a breeze. I’m loving the results so far, but waiting not so patiently for them to even out because my nips are freaking me out pointing two different directions. Other than that honestly the size just feels like it was meant for me. I’m happy to say no boob greed here! Just waiting to get back in the gym!

heres to more drop and fluff!

ELA hey girl! thanks! The lead up to surgery is so exciting (and nerve wracking )  I booked my surgery 7 months in advance and when the day finally came, it still didn't feel real.

My biggest word of advice would be to really prep yourself mentally. For me, I was SO worried about the pain I thought I was going to be in and about frankenboob, that I didn't take the time to prep myself for the lack of activities i was going to partake in. I am a person that is constantly doing something, so the first two days of doing nothing was fantastic. by day three and four I was so over it. I felt completely useless at home from not doing regular house hold chores, I could feel my muscles weakening from not going to the gym and OMG I JUST WANTED TO LIFT MY ARMS HIGH ENOUGH TO SHAVE MY ARMPITS. But, I was pleasantly surprised with the fact that I had zero pain. A little sore day of, mostly from swelling, but after the first day I only took my pain medicine at night to be cautious.  I still find myself having to remember that I can't do a lot of things because I'm still healing. It was an expensive investment and I do not want to risk messing anything up.
Don't be afraid to ask your surgeon any questions leading up to surgery either! And if you have ANY doubts about sizing or placement, make sure you see him! I swear I saw my surgeon SO many times leading up to surgery because I wanted to make sure I was 100% confident with the size. I couldn't be happier I did. It makes the healing much easier when you know you made the right decision.

Good luck!! If you have any questions, reach out. That's what we're all here for!
